APARTMENT 8-9, BELLAVISTA I, CABO ROIG, ORIHUELA COSTA

Cabo Roig is a small coastal town, situated in the beautiful area of Orihuela Costa.  The location of Cabo Roig is covered with olive, orange, lemon and almond trees and vineyards providing inexpensive local wines.

Cabo Roig area is identified by the World Health Council as one of the healthiest places in the world thanks to its dry climate especially beneficial for conditions such as rheumatism, arthritis and asthma.

The location of Cabo Roig on a cape makes it a very tranquil place and an idyllic setting for those wanting  peace and privacy.

A beautiful marina has been developed on the cape of Cabo Roig with a tapas bar and restaurant between the beach and the marina giving a fabulous setting and wonderful views across the sea to La Manga  to watch the sunset.

There are two beaches both with crystal clear waters and both awarded the EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness.  One can enjoy all kinds of water sports including sailing, fishing and wind surfing.   Also scuba diving locally at Playa Flamenca under supervision of a PADI professional.

The Mar Menor, an inland sea, separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of land 30km long with beaches on both sides can be found only a few miles South of Cabo Roig.  Around the Mar Menor there has been a large development of golf and other sports clubs this is known as La Manga Club.

Three excellent golf courses can be found in the close area of Cabo Roig, those of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, which is the longest playing course of the three and good putting is required to score will here !!  Tee times and buggies are available at all the courses.  Villamartin golf course has hosted the Mediterranean Open and is probably the best known course in the Costa Blanca area, and is only 5 minutes from Cabo Roig. A real paradise for the golf enthusiast.

Other activities in the area are horse riding only 12km away from Cabo Roig where you can ride on the banks of the unspoilt ‘La Mata - Torrevieja Salt Lakes’.
Outdoor mud baths in San Pedro del Pinatar is located 15km away.  These curative muds are ideal for treating  joint and bone problems.

Walking and cycling is an excellent way to explore and with over 300 days of sunshine a year and a wide diversity of landscapes, this area of Spain is superb.
The city of Murcia, further inland has impressive historic building and a superb Cathedral, while the smaller city  of Lorca has a quaint charm and an impressive castle on the hill.

APARTMENT 8-9 BELLAVISTA I

Located in the quiet residential area of the original Cabo Roig and only 50 yards from the beach you will find Bellavista I which is a complex of privately  owned apartments set in beautiful gardens around a good sized swimming pool.  Here even in peak times it is quiet and green.

The apartment is on the first floor, with a large balcony overlooking the coast and a garden at the bottom of the steps offering good shade for afternoon tea. It is fully air-conditioned and central heated for use in both winter and summer months.

The apartment was recently refurbished and offers a  modern, comfortable and clean stay for your holiday.  The apartment can sleep up to six people, however four is more comfortable with large twin and double rooms.  Then the additional full size pull-out sofa bed between the bedrooms.

The kitchen has all modern amenities including oven, hob, grill, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier as well as coffee maker, toaster etc.
Two shower rooms are large and have basin, toilet and shower.

A large open plan living/ dining area opening onto the balcony has TV with the full Sky Facility.

San Javier Airport is only 20 minutes drive from Cabo Roig and is serviced by most of the ‘cheap flight’ airlines as well as BA flights.  Taxis can be booked at the airport or cars can be booked locally or prior to your arrival in Spain.  We are able to book reliable cars at very favourable rates should you require. This as a really good airport to travel to and from as it is so local to Cabo Roig, therefore increasing your holiday time.

Alicante airport is situated to the North of Cabo Roig and is a drive of approximately 50 minutes.  This is a much larger airport than Murcia and offers the same airline services.  Cars can be booked as San Javier.
